Nick Robertson
We are saddened to share the news of the death of long-time Club member Nick Robertson (Port William) on 16th May 2024, peacefully at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary after a short illness.
Nick was most often involved in our events as part of the comms team, as part of RAYNET, and then more recently Marshalling alongside his wife, Linda. He took part in our 2022 Targa Rally in his lovely Volvo Amazon, and was instrumental in the organisation of our two Galloway 100 Touring Assemblies alongside Stewart and Liz, creating the routebook for our event which took place on 12th May.
Solway Car Club sends its condolences to Nick’s wife, Linda, and their daughter, Kirsten, and to his extended family and friends.
Nick’s funeral will take place at Roucan Loch Crematorium on Thursday 30th of May at 1pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited to attend. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Scottish Air Ambulance.
