AGM
The AGM took place on Wednesday 11th January 2023, at the Kings Arms Hotel, Castle Douglas. 7.30pm. On behalf of everyone, we wish to thank our retiring President Stewart Robertson, and Committee Member John Wallace, for everything they have both done for the Club. Welcome to new Committee Members Mairi Riddick and Niall Cowan Jnr.

The 2022 KNC Groundworks Scottish Rally Championship Awards Ceremony took place in Glasgow on Saturday 28th January. A huge well done to everyone collecting an award, especially our own club members who have been incredibly successful this year!

MEMBERS IN ACTION
Monte Carlo (19th – 22nd January): and just like that we are on to 2023! At the WRC-opener in the South of France, Elliot Edmondson and Swedish driver Oliver Solberg competing in a new Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, suffered a puncture on SS2 on Day 1, which was a bad start, dropping them to 21st in the WRC2 class. Another issue happened in SS11, with a damaged rear wheel, dropping a few places yet again. However, consistently high times, including a number of fastest times in the class, meant they were able to climb back up to 6th in the Rally2 class (14th Overall) by the end of the weekend.
