Event Report

Our sixth Grass Autotest of the year took place on Sunday 4th September, with 13 entries, returning to Redfield near Twynholm with the kind permission of the Armstrong family.

Class 1 (under 1400cc FWD): It was another class win for Rab Henderson ahead of the Nissan Sunny of Aaran Ferguson, with Niall Cowan Jnr in 3rd. Peter Game and Jack Gaffney were next, ahead of Elaine Murdoch in the MG (6th), with Ashley Thomson rounding off the class in 7th.

Class 2 (over 1400cc FWD): Thomas McCarney took the class win, ahead of wife Karen McCarney in 2nd.  The shared Ford KA of Hal Renwick and Craig Smith with next, with the Kerr Brook in the Suzuki 5th and the Puma of Alan McMorran in 6th.

Well done to our winner, Thomas McCarney, finishing 17+ seconds ahead of Rab Henderson, with Karen McCarney taking 3rd & first Lady. Niall Cowan Jnr was Top Novice.
