Autotest Tyres (updated)

Autotest Tyres (updated)

Following on from the post on 5th June that open pattern/aggressive tyres will be prohibited on Solway Car Club events in 2025 (read here), the Alpha Racing Ultra Harper tyre (and any similar open pattern/aggressive tyres) must not be used on the driven wheels of any vehicle on this weekend’s event, due to potential ground damage which could be caused.

As these grass fields are not scheduled for ploughing, we feel this is necessary to futureproof the use of Southerness and the other fantastic grass venues we get offered, and we hope all our members will understand.

If anyone has any queries on what tyres can be used, don’t hesitate to contact Chairman Mark McCulloch direct on 07824 517421.

PS – we hope to see lots of you on Sunday – you can enter the Southerness Autotest here.
